After Being Boycotted By Elon Musk For Thriving On Corruption, Twitter Hires The Alleged Seattle Law Firm
Twitter is working with a law firm that Elon Musk has previously criticized. Musk stated that no one should hire Perkins Coie because the business "thrives on corruption."
According to court records, Perkins Coie is defending Twitter in a lawsuit filed by a far-right activist.
The story was initially reported by Reuters on Thursday.
According to the Notice of Appearance, Perkins Coie, a Seattle-based legal firm, intends to defend Twitter and cofounder Jack Dorsey in a lawsuit brought by far-right activist Laura Loomer, who was shut out of her account in 2018 for "hateful" postings, according to the complaint filed in May.
Some Twitter offices were converted into beds by Elon Musk...
Elon Musk converted some office space at Twitter's headquarters in San Francisco into sleeping accommodations.
It came after his "hardcore" ultimatum, in which he asked staff to commit to "long hours at great intensity."
Check out some of the sleeping rooms, including what looks to be Musk's bedroom.
Elon Musk has apparently converted some office space at Twitter's San Francisco headquarters into beds and is having one built for himself as well.
That piqued the interest of the San Francisco Department of Building Inspection, which informed Insider that it was looking into the claims.
Musk was unimpressed, writing on Twitter: "So the mayor of San Francisco goes after firms who provide beds for exhausted employees rather than ensuring that children are protected from fentanyl. What are your top priorities, @LondonBreed?"
His plan to have certain staff sleep at the workplace comes after one employee published a picture of Musk in a sleeping bag and mask on the floor of Twitter's headquarters early last month, just after Musk seized control.
According to a court filing on December 27, Perkins Coie has replaced Jenner & Block, which withdrew from the lawsuit.
